Our girl Lusid Art sat down with Henry for a quick chat about his proccess.
Henry Bennett is an Illustrator and Visual Artist based in Brisbane, Australia. He uses traditional pen
and ink techniques to create record covers, merchandise/ poster designs, & screen printed art work.
What are you inspirations?
My work is an exploration of all things psychedelic, surreal and fantastical – taking inspiration from
Art Nouveau, 70’s psychedelia, nature and life/ death themes to conceive his own fantasy realms to
expand the mind.
What’s your process?
My process involves lengthy research and concept development, which leads to sketching and resketching
of ideas until a solution is realised. Conceptual grounding, depth and relevance of ideas, as
well as strong composition and visual/ stylistic execution is of utmost importance.
